HISP(Hanyang International Scholarship Program).
Hanyang University has, in the interest of globalization, increased its efforts to recruit international students and to provide them with a convenient learning environment. In order to create international community leaders, Hanyang selects 10 foreign students each year and under this scholarship program, undergraduate and graduate students will receive FULL SCHOLARSHIPS from entrance to graduation.
Fields
All international students who wish to apply for regular program are eligible to apply, except for those studying in Medical Science (students in the Music, Design, and Physical Education Departments must obtain approval from their corresponding departments).
Qualifications
1) Applicant must be either Korean overseas residents or foreign students who have received a complete
primary, intermediate and high school education (total 11-12 years) outside Korea. Bachelor`s degree
is necessary for Master`s Program and Master`s degree, for Doctorate Program applicants.
2) Applicant must be under the age of 35 (as of January 2006).
3) Applicant is required to have an intermediate level of Korean or English proficiency.
4) Applicant must have satisfactory academic standing at the last school attended and express a definite motive for studying Korean.
5) Applicant must be in good health.
6) Applicant must not accept other types of scholarships.
7) Applicant is required to have a minimum 550 TOEFL score (213 in CBT) if applying for a graduate program, and his/her native language is not English.
Benefaction
1) Full Scholarship : 4 years for Undergraduate Program or 2-3 years for Graduate Program (2yrs. For M.A./ 3 yrs. For Ph.D.)

3) 180,000 KRW Monthly Living Expenses
